How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on the Emirex Platform? (Emirex.ee)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is one of the most effective methods to secure your Emirex account. This additional layer of security provides protection even in the event of a password leak. In this article, we will explain how to enable 2FA using Google Authenticator.
Step 1: Navigate to Your Profile
1 Log in to your Emirex account.
2 In the top right corner of the screen, you will see your avatar or initials. Hover over them to open the dropdown menu.
2 From the dropdown menu, select "Profile."
Step 2: Access Security Settings
1 Within your profile, you will find various tabs and settings. Click on the "Account Security" tab.
Step 3: Enable Two-Factor Authentication
1 In the security section, locate the "Two-Factor Authentication" option.
2 Click on the "Enable" button next to this option.
Step 4: Set Up Google Authenticator
1 After enabling 2FA, the system will prompt you to download the Google Authenticator app.
2 You will be presented with a QR code. This code needs to be scanned using the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device.
3 Open the Google Authenticator app and tap the button to add a new account via QR code scanning.
4 Scan the QR code displayed on the Emirex platform.
5 After scanning, the app will display a temporary code. Enter this code in the corresponding field on the Emirex platform.
6 Afterward, click the "Confirm" button.
Congratulations! You have successfully configured Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) using Google Authenticator on the Emirex platform. Now, whenever you attempt to access your account, you will need to enter the temporary code generated by the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device.
2FA significantly enhances the security of your account, making it secure even in the event of a password leak. Remember to keep access to your Google Authenticator app in a secure location.
