This sections contains everything you need to know about deposit recovery rules, cross-chain transfers and payments sent to wrong addresses.
Emirex Deposit recovery Policy is applicable to deposits sent to addresses of coins on different networks, including, but not limited to the following examples:
- Transfers sent to USDT (ERC20) address instead of ETH address
- Transfers sent to an BCH address instead of BTC (Cross-chain transactions)
- Sending assets to incorrect addresses
Caution: All Emirex customers are hereby advised to treat each deposit transaction with the utmost care and attention to detail, as it is their sole responsibility to ensure that all transfers of assets are performed correctly.
Emirex is hereby informing its customers that all situation involving asset recovery will first undergo a careful evaluation for the purpose of determining their feasibility. The results of the evaluation are deemed to be final and non-negotiable.
In case the evaluation performed by Emirex results in determining that recovery is not feasible, at Emirex sole discretion, the recovery will not be performed. In case Emirex sees that the recovery attempt could potentially have a positive outcome, it shall go ahead with that attempt.
Note: By no means does Emirex guarantee a successful result of any attempts of a deposit recovery. In case the deposit is recovered Emirex deducts 50 USDT equivalent fee for deposit recovering.
For successful recovery of full or partial deposit, a fee will be applied. The fee will be deducted from the deposit that Emirex will credit to the customer's wallet.
Emirex cannot ensure any timeframes in which the discretionary recovery could be performed. All customers are, therefore, requested to bear with us and exercise patience. Once finalized, you will be contacted by Emirex team members. The Emirex team will not communicate any updates prior to the completion of the process.
Note: Please be informed that, unsupported token deposits (including, but not limited to, tokens on incorrect chains) will not be recoverable.
In case you have withdrawn tokens to an incorrect address by mistake, Emirex will not be able to locate the correct receiver of the sent assets or provide you with any additional help in this regard, as blockchain networks are anonymous.
Note: Please note that the irreversibility of cryptocurrency protocols does not allow for reversing or cancellation of transfers that have been sent.
The only course of action in such circumstance will be contacting the recipient and seeking their help and cooperation in sending your assets back. However, if you are unfamiliar with the receiver, to whose address you have mistakenly sent your assets, there is no solution and unfortunately, you will most likely be unable to recover your assets.
In view of the above, Emirex once again advises all customers to exercise extreme caution and care when initiating transactions. Please take time to verify all the details of the transaction, such as the receiver’s address and amount to be sent.
